Love

We walk the path of life every day
You may even look into that
special someone's eyes
And fall in love
Much to your surprise

So I say to YOU...

Don't ever take someone's
love for acknowledged
For if you do
they will be left
disillusioned

Always show your love
in every way
This must you do
every single day

Love is waiting for you
Now all you have to do
is.......

Have a little talk
Take a little walk...

I MISS YOU SO MUCH ABAH (DAD)

"You're my pillar,anchor,hero,

You're the best cook ever,

Eating together with mom,

That's what I really miss,

You had a heart of gold,

I can still feel your love,

Years may come and go,

Your memories will never be erased,

Our happy moments together,

You taught me moral values,

Believe in myself and have confidence,

No one can take your place,

Mom & I miss you so much 😢

We use our eyes to see
But eyes can fool us sometimes
When we didn't look harder
We lose precious things
But who knows
Maybe we can't lose what we've never had
Cause we made it look invisible
Although its the reality
People make a wish through the shooting star
Why they do that?
Cause there's a hope in themselves
They still accept in something eyes can't see
Somewhere someday the'll find
Final destination ------- SK

EARTH HOUR 2013

Earth Hour is the single, largest, symbolic mass participation event in the world.   Born out of a hope that we could mobilize people to take action on climate change, Earth Hour now inspires a global community of millions of people in 7,001 cities and towns across 152 countries and territories to switch lights off for an hour as a massive show of concern for the environment.

The Earth Hour event we see today has been 9 years in the making. Read the historical timeline to find out how the campaign began and grew into a global movement.

MIRROR

“To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest”

You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.

“We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.”

The Hippo And The Tortoise, A True Story : Much of life can never be explained - only witnessed

NAIROBI (AFP) - A baby hippopotamus that survived the tsunami waves on the Kenyan coast has formed a bond with a giant male century-old tortoise in an animal facility in the port city of Mombasa , officials said

The hippopotamus, nicknamed Owen and weighing about 300 kilograms (650 pounds), was swept down Sabaki River into the Indian Ocean , then forced back to shore when tsunami waves struck the Kenyan coast on December 26, before wildlife rangers rescued him.

"It is incredible. A less-than-a-year-old hippo has adopted a male tortoise, about a century old, and the tortoise seems to be very happy with being a mother," ecologist Paula Kahumbu, who is in charge of Lafarge Park , told AFP.

"After it was swept away and lost its mother, the hippo was traumatized. It had to look for something to be a surrogate mother. Fortunately, it landed on the tortoise and established a strong bond. They swim, eat, and sleep together," the ecologist added. "The hippo follows the tortoise exactly the way it followed its mother. If somebody approaches the tortoise, the hippo becomes aggressive, as if protecting its biological mother," Kahumbu added.

"The hippo is a young baby, he was left at a very tender age and by nature, hippos are social animals that like to stay with their mother for four years," he explained.

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

This is a real story that shows that our differences don't matter much when we need the comfort of another. We could all learn a lesson from these two creatures. "Look beyond the differences and find a way to walk the path together."

"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves. "

The Charming August 2012

August 2012,

The eighth month of the year,

Brings so many things to mind,

Celebrated our birthday together,

Celebrated Syawal Eid Fitri too,

A month with two full moons,

The first full moon was August 1,

The second full moon was August 31,

The Malaysia's 55th Merdeka Day celebrations,

Lift up the spirit, blissful and happy,

The Charming August 2012.

No Man Is An Island

▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ █ No Man Is An Island █ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂

No man is an island,

Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

Setiap seorang secebis dari benua,
Sebahagian dari keseluruhan."

kerana aku sebahagian daripada kemanusiaan,
dan kerana itu, janganlah bertanya untuk siapa loceng kematian berbunyi untukmu." ------ John Donme

You know when you care,

They know when you care,

When they think they have no one to turn too,

You show up and ease their pain and hurt,

You mean everything to them,

They mean a lot to you,

You build your character,

They strengthen their soul,

Whether good or bad,

You know,

They know,

There is always a TEACHER

Still

I still remember the first time I saw him,

He was singing on the stage,

Thinking to myself how awesome he was,

He really never noticed me,

I continued to see him throughout the season,

The only thing I know about him,

Is his name, his group and his fame,

Yet I realized he is also a human,

He needs strength and love from within the soul,

Family to comfort all his fears,

Friends to support and celebrate,

I wish that he will not despair,

His eyes will not cry,

Through ups and downs of life,

He needs to be strong and proud,

To live healthy and long,

So I can watch him over and over again,

And another poem can be written,

To let him know that I care,

If this is the only way I can help,

May God bless him and hold him tenderly.

End of the Day

So much to say,
But where do I start,
It’s easy to fool around,
It’s harder to keep the faith,
Funny how life can be so surprising,
I wish I could believe in something new,
Another day just passes by,
I took for granted everything I had,
And all of the things I’ve been looking for,
Have always been here outside of my door,
Praying that some how,
You will understand something,
That there’s always some reason,
To feel not good enough,
We got a little world of our own,
And it’s hard at the end of the day

Journey

The road that I must travel will end and curl,
Yet day after day I keep searching, the path that life’s leading to,
Angel eyes set upon me, hope you will always be there to hold me,
I believe in what I’m feeling, I’ll get the magic back again,
I wanna see me touch the moon,
My goal is to find peace in my journey,
Upholding the dreams and a better life

Hope

The hills are shadowed, the moon just beginning,
As the sun goes down, I am standing in the night,
Looking so far away, like across the endless sea,
I’ve got strange ways, on how I see my future,
There’s a gateway through my world, God bless for who I am,
Time stands still, there’s nothing to hide for,
There’s hope in a heart, and I pray it will come true

Happy New Year

Farewell 2011
Welcome 2012
Goodbye Sadness
Hello Happiness
Closed Old Stories
Open New Journey
As long as we breathe
A new adventure a waits…

Friendship

True friendships are like snowflakes,
Each one equally special, yet somehow always unique,
Friends help each other to grow and discover what life is all about,
Sometimes we choose to walk down, separate paths,
Only to return, and tell the other what was found out,

True friends never judge, we’ll stand by each other,
No matter how poor of choices, one of us might make,
We see one another through sleepless nights and tears,
Never sure when the sadness will break,

Friends have disagreements and fights,
But through it all there is a tunnel and at the end is a bright light,
Not everyone you meet will treat you right,
But if you call her friend she will be there till the end.

Princess Diana Frances Spencer

Princess Diana Frances Spencer

Lady D they called her,
Beauty,kindness and charms,
She moved with style and grace,
She greeted people with a warmness smile,
The way she laughs, the way she acts,
Bring magical to this world,
A symphony of word from her voice,
So soft, sweet and clear,
The world is a treasure to her,
She put people soul from worst to best,
Admired her in each and every way,
No one could ever take her place,
They say that nothing is forever,
Yet memories will always be locked,
It'll be too late to start over,
When you’d no longer be here,
and so I leave you with this...poem.

The Most Haunted Place In Perak, Malaysia

(1) St Michael’s Institution, Ipoh

A group of Catholics missionaries arrived here in 1912 and began building a school next to the famous Kinta River. It did not take long for the missionary brothers who ran the school to have enough funds to erect a huge school building with unique French structural design. When the WW2 broke out, the school was used bu Japanese secret police as their headquarters. Needless to say, there were lots of torturing carried out. The buidling itself had many tunnels which had been sealed off and the tunnels were said to be used by the Japanese to torture prisoners and to store food. Most of the sightings occurs in the Chapel on the fourth floor of the bluiding where a Brother was seen dressed in a black robe holding praying beands in a sitting position facing towards the door (which leads to the brothers quarters) in the very early morning without a head. Those who had witnessed it were asked to keep it a secret.

(2) Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar, Perak

This school is said to be a former site of Japanese occupation camp during WW2. Students would sometimes be awakened by something that stares down directly at them. A marching platoon can be heard in the field and sounds of dragging chains can be heard through the campus corridors. A tree on the campus, which is located right beside a lampost where the light shines down on it, reflects a shadow of a man hanging from the tree! A few other old colonial admin buildings that were used by the Japanese during the Occupation in the 1940s where executions are taken place are buildings like Victoria Institution and Bukit Bintang Girls School.

(3) Tambun, Ipoh, Perak

Singtings of an old lady on the roadside while driving

(4) Tambun Inn, Ipoh, Perak

Lights were reported to turn on and off by itself and sounds of whispering could be heard where no one was around.

(5) Kellies Castle, Perak

Sometimes door are opened themselves and lots of scary screaming voices can be heard.

***Kellie's Castle was to surpass his estate bungalow. Seventy tough workers, mostly from Madras, were employed and bricks and marble were imported from India. But during the construction, tragedy struck. A mysterious illness broke out, killing many of Smith's workers. The superstitious Smith was told that a temple must be built to appease the gods. He immediately transferred his workers to build a Hindu temple nearby.

Work resumed after the temple was completed but the castle was never to be realised. Tragedy struck again. On a visit to Lisbon, at the age of 56, Smith died of pneumonia.

His wife, Agnes, sold the estate and with the passing of time, and the end of colonial rule, the castle soon faded into memory.

Located on a ridge beside a meandering river near the town of Batu Gajah, Kellie's Castle is easily spotted from the Batu Gajah - Jalan Gopeng. Etched against the blue sky, much of the structure is still intact.

Over the years, the sturdy castle appears to have waged battle against the undergrowth. Although once creepers sprout from its exterior and gnarled tree roots fill the compound, the interior is undamaged. Only the spiders and insects make home of the empty rooms.

Despite signs of decay, the castle exudes a certain air of dignity and grandeur. Moving from room to room, one can imagine the rich furnishings that would have filled the stately structure, had it been completed. As we wander around the castle, there is a eerie feeling of being watched. Sunlight streams through a series of arches on the two main floors, casting ghostly shadows on the verandah running the length of the building.

Perhaps, there is some truth to the local legend that the spirit of Old Man Kellie still wanders along the corridors...
